The best part of this place was the service. Our entree came with bread, soup and salad, bread was way to hard, soup was so so, salad was lettuce with olive oil basically with some carrot shavings. We both ordered al tre - 3 shrimp, portion of veal and a portion of chicken with sauce and cheese. All were very bland and over cooked. We also ordered sides of the homemade spaghetti, o so bland and also over done. We will not return.

I've been to this place a few times. We stay at World Tour Golf course down the road very year with some friends and we always make it to this place. The service is great, host greets you right away, seats you and server comes right over. I like that and thats why we come back. The fresh baked bread, lite romano salad and italian wedding soup which doesnt have much stock to it all work nicely. The only complaint I have is the servers arent bartendars and they normally need help making certain drinks and the red sauce is Chef Boyardee tasting.....Its really not good and they put mint leaf on it as a garnish "WRONG" lol... that just doesnt go. It is a nice place and you should try it but I would get the sausage and pepper app with thier red pepper cream sauce and shrimp fettucini....See ya next year! Food Quality 3 Atmosphere 3 Service 4

This is the best Italian food in the area. It is second to none. I was very impressed with the food mostly because EVERYTHING WAS FRESH. I didn't have any dessert but they all looked very tasty. The pricing is about average but thats a great deal considering how good the food is. 10/10 I would recommend this place to anyone.

We love this place and the reason for 3 stars is the service. When im paying $22.00 for an entree I expect the service to be $22.00 entree service and its just not. The waitress was very nice but she has never had formal training. Passing out the wine glasses to 1 person to give to the table. Passing out the soups and salads again to 1 person to pass out to the table. Wrong wine glasses for white and red wines etc. When the bill is $177.00 I do expect the service to match the pricing. Now to the food. Lasagna was incredible as usual, the gnocchi vodka sauce omg and the veal mushroom vodka sauce was very very tasty. The Cannoli cream was very bland and the shell was not full throughout the shell. The tiramisu was average at best the lady fingers were very dry and who puts cherries on it. The shrimp cocktail needs alot of work cooked perfectly but 4 of the smallest shrimps I've had in a shrimp cocktail. The food is amazing step up the etiquette of service and you will have more of the $150 and up checks.

Fantastic food and service. We stop here every year on vacation since Panne Vino opened. It gets better with every year. This year our waiter, Nick, admittedly was new but you can tell he has waiter experience. When undecided about the type of wine we wanted, Nick offered a sample tasting. He also recommended a pasta vodka dish he personally likes. Dinners come with bread, soup and salad. The soup and salad are small compared to other establishments however, it is perfectly proportioned when you consider the entree. The entrees are not what you want to take home. It is what you want to continue to enjoy while it is fresh and leaves you in amazement of what you are experiencing. Rarely do I enjoy every bite. Typically about half way through a dinner the entree becomes fuel and the initial taste of greatness disappears. Not the case with Panne Vino. EVERY bite is memorable. A little hard to find, but put in in your GPS. You will not regret it. See you next year!

The first time I went to Pane E Vino, my best friend and I stumbled upon it just looking for a place to have dinner - what a discovery! Everything we ate and drank was delicious! Every meal comes with bread and dipping oil, soup and salad. Then we ordered homemade fettuccine with shrimp wrapped in prosciutto in a roasted red pepper cream sauce, grilled rack of lamb and an amazing bottle of wine. After dinner we ordered flaming sambuca (beautiful and delicious) and were then treated to homemade limoncello. This was not just an amazing meal but a true dining experience! That was a year ago and I have been craving it ever since! I took my boyfriend there last night and had another amazing experience. THANK YOU, Pane e Vino for the amazing food, wonderful service and keeping fine dining alive!

Your going to really like this place. Its family owned and operated. They have homeade manicotti, canolli's and of course one of my favorite after dinner drinks Limocello. I'll be going back again for sure.

We tripped on this place. The food was authentic and fabulous! Some herbs are home grown and recipes are brought over from Rome and Sicily. Outstanding! The chef Anna came out to greet us and hugged my wife and sang an Italian song to her. You will love it!

I am a self-proclaimed foodie - I've eaten at hundreds of Italian restaurants all over the U.S. (lived in Manhattan for nine years) and traveled up and down Italy for weeks tasting all the epicurean delights that my homeland had to offer. I am pleasantly shocked to report that Pane e Vino cracks the top 20 Italian restaurants that I've been to. If Pane e Vino was a stock I'd issue a "strong buy " recommendation and say it's definitely undervalued. First, most of the pasta is made fresh. The spaghetti and gnocchi are melt in your mouth delicious and the penne (one of the few pastas not homemade) which we ordered for our daughters comes out perfectly al dente. The sauce screams "Grandma's Sunday Gravy" which if you grew up in an Italian household is the ultimate compliment. They give you a basket of freshly made piping hot rolls which you should use to soak up the flavors of any soups or sauces on any dish ordered. The Veal Saltimbocca had thin slices of prosciutto on it and had great flavor although it was probably one of the smaller entrees on the menu in terms of size. The Chicken Parmigiana was a very large portion and was right on point. We went in a large group and got to taste a lot of different food and the Fettucini Alfredo was made with home made noodles and it was very flavorful yet it didn't have the same heavy feel that most cream sauces have. The Stracciatella soup (of course home made) was among the best I've ever had and even the home made salad dressing was one of the best Italian salad dressings I've enjoyed in a restaurant. Although I was glad at the level of personal attention we got (there were only about 4 tables being served while we were there) and the servers were amazing - I want restaurants like this to succeed and want to see the restaurant more full so they stay in business for a long long time. We ended the meal with a cannoli and could tell that the cannoli cream was home made which I surprised myself that I had room for one more bite. Needless to say we'll come back again real soon although I'll need to wear roomier pants next time. Buen Appetito (as my friend Mario Batali would say).

Pane e vino was a mixed bag. On the positive side, the restaurant is bright, cheerful, and comfortable, and service was knowledgeable and attentive. The wine list is small and uninspired, but the wines by the glass are reasonably priced and pours are generous. Others have noted that the Friday night accordion player is annoying, but I find his uber-stereotypical shabby chic and mediocre musicianship entertaining. That said, our meal was very hit or miss. We ordered a bruschetta appetizer that was tasty enough, but nothing special. The homemade soup (Italian wedding) was tasty as well, and the salad appeared to be bagged spring mix and veggies, but was perfectly fresh. Our entrees failed to impress. I had the ravioli, and the reviewer who invoked Chef Boy-Ar-Dee was unfortunately spot on. That was exactly the flavor, and at $16.95 the portion was very small. I am fine with a first course-sized pasta dish at first course prices, but this was not a first course. The red sauce was completely insipid; ketchup would have been an upgrade. My wife had the spinach manicotti, which I didn't try, but it certainly didn't look like anything special. Desserts, on the other hand, excelled. My wife had an orange ice that was spectacular. Tons of fresh orange flavor, perfect sweetness, and refreshing. I had a cannoli, and while the shell was brought in frozen, the filling was clearly fresh, surprisingly light, neither gritty nor cloying, and balanced nicely with a touch of lemon zest. Suggestion: go for dessert and the bad accordion music, or enjoy a giant glass of $6 italian red at the bar.

Good tasting food, and I totally believe that they make everything fresh. The meal that we ordered was gnocchi and baked grouper... the gnocchi was a little overdone, but was still tasty as it was fresh. The baked grouper was fairly good, but not teriffic, and came with a potato-green bean mix, as well as a potato-onion-raisin mix. The atmosphere was nice, and the inside was very clean and proper. Prices were a little on the high-side, $24 was the cheapest fish dish. Only other comment is that the menu was limited in terms of just the pasta dishes... there were only really 2-3 simple pasta dishes.

The best!!! This place hands down is the best meal I've had out in years!!! The food, service, and the atmosphere are second to none!!! If you are in the area you need to go here!!! You will not be disappointed. Everything is made fresh, and served hot!!! The desserts are amazing and they are also homemade or imported from Italy. DO NOT pass this hidden gem up when you are in the area!!!

This charming and inviting family owned business had us at hello. Our server, Amanda, was knowledgeable and welcoming. Anna, the owner, came out to ask us personally about our meal. She took time with each person in our group and really made us feel special. The swordfish special was delicious as was the perfectly breaded calamari. Had we not been so stuffed after our fantastic meal we would have tried dessert. Prior to leaving the bartender sent over complimentary limoncello which tasted silky and not too strong. Very nice gesture. The accordion player also stopped and said hello. Pane E Vino will be on our return list. And I'm certain Anna will remember us because she insists on creating a family like experience for each guest. As she said when we left-Ciao!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
